How to Reach Salina
Getting to the island of Salina is part of the adventure! Follow these steps to make your journey smooth:
Step 1: Fly to Catania Airport
The nearest major airport is Catania Fontanarossa Airport (CTA). From there, you can travel to Milazzo to catch a ferry to Salina.Another option is to fly into Reggio Calabria Airport (REG) and take a Liberty Lines ferry directly to Santa Marina Salina. This can be a convenient alternative, depending on your flight options and ferry schedules.
Step 2: Travel from Catania Airport to Milazzo
You have several options to reach Milazzo from Catania Airport:- Shuttle Bus: You can take a shuttle bus from Catania Airport directly to Milazzo. Click here or the image for schedules and tickets.- Private Taxi Transfer: For a more comfortable and direct ride (though more expensive), you can book a private transfer with one of these services: Maisano, Alibrando, Taxi Taormina, Transfeero.
Step 3: Take a Ferry from Milazzo to Salina
From Milazzo, you can catch a ferry to Santa Marina Salina, the main port of the island. Ferries are operated by Liberty Lines. Click here or the image to book your ferry.
Step 4: Santa Marina to Lingua
Once you arrive at Santa Marina Salina with the ferry, getting to Lingua is simple.- Shuttle: Check with your accommodation to see if they offer a shuttle service to Lingua.- By Taxi: You can contact Taxi Daniela Locantro at +39 333 4628215 for a quick and comfortable ride (approximately 5 minutes).- Rental Options: For those who prefer more flexibility, scooters and cars are available for rent.

The ceremony and celebrations will be held in Lingua, a charming village where everything is within walking distance. Salina has limited taxi services, so staying in Lingua lets you avoid transportation issues and move easily between accommodations and event venues.Other Accommodation Options
If staying in Lingua isn’t possible, we recommend:Santa Marina Salina: The main port, just 10 minutes away by car, offering a lively atmosphere with restaurants and shops.
Malfa: A quiet and scenic village, around 20 minutes by car, perfect for those seeking tranquility.
